ChromaNex

ChromaNex is a first-person, physics-based puzzle game centered around the innovative mechanic of absorbing and transferring colors within the environment. Each color possesses a unique physics-altering property, allowing players to manipulate objects in creative ways—such as reversing gravity, expanding size, or increasing weight. Players take control of Nova, a lone engineer stranded on the ISS Chroma, forced to rely on their trusty ChromaBlaster, allowing unique abilities to navigate the rapidly deteriorating station.

To prevent total destruction, they must overcome obstacles, evade hazards, and restore critical subsystems before time runs out. As a single-player experience, ChromaNex features a sequential progression of puzzle rooms, in the vein of games such as Portal and Q.U.B.E, where challenges grow increasingly complex. Players will need to think strategically as color combinations introduce new complexity, demanding greater problem-solving skills to reach the next area. Unexpected twists to gameplay and environmental hazards will ensure that no section feels too predictable, keeping players engaged from start to finish.
